Today, I'm going to tell you about a saint and a holy priest who is good at praying all day long,

and also good at changing a flat tire.

His name is Alvaro del Portillo.

Yesterday, we talked about prayer as spending time with your friend, Jesus.

But it's a little bit hard to spend time with someone you can't see, isn't it?

And how do you know Jesus is listening? To pray, we have to trust that Jesus is close to us, listening to us. Some of the saints like Blessed Alvaro del Portillo

had very short prayers that they would say all throughout the day to remind themselves that

Elro del Portillo was a Spanish priest who lived not too long ago. There are plenty of people alive today who knew him and remember him.

He helped another saint, José Maria Skriva, gathered together lots of friends

These people wanted to help everyone become very close to God,

no matter where they worked or went to school.

When Alvaro became a priest, everyone called him Don Alvaro out of respect.
