I'm Mike Schmidt, 40-year-old boy podcast.

Remember when this show started? Do you? Back in, what, it's 2020 now, so it's got to be,

what, 2001? Is that what? Is that what it started? 9-11? I think it started on 9-11. 2001.

It was me and six of the guys going to do a podcast because I was inventing podcasting at that time.

Me and six of the dudes were sitting around the table and then it was a fucking plane crash and they were like, what the fuck?

And then they ran out of the room and they left me to sit here with just a microphone by myself.

And 18 years later, still me with a microphone by myself.

How dare they leave me?

And those six men went on to form imagined dragons.

Can you believe it? I think they found their proper calling.

They don't want to be sitting around talking about movies and stuff with me.

They can go off to be playing shitty bad rock.

I just saw a list that had the top songs of the 2000s or the 2010s or something like that.

And I think seven of them were Imagine Dragon songs.

Five more of them were 21 pilots songs.
