Yeah. 13. 1.1.219 highlights the same idea. They went out from us, but they were not of us.

For if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us, but they went out that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us, from us,

of us, of us, with us, all of us.

The us means we're dealing here with the fellowship of believers in 1st John,

fellowship of the church.

They have coinania, communion.

See, we as Christians are sometimes presented as a body, like in 1st, Corinthians 12, sometimes as a building as an expression in Ephesians

too. But not all who are in fellowship are necessarily saved. Let's realize that. But remaining

in the fellowship is one evidence of that, and John deals with that in some

depth.

Now, Jesus makes it clear that only those who produce fruit are truly born again.

How do you know you're born again?

Are you bearing fruit?

Wow.
