Music Okay, we're going to get into the gospel of Mark.

So whenever we enter the Word of God, we do it with prayer, right?

Let's bar our hearts. Father, we thank you for who you are.

We thank you for the gift of your word. We thank you also for the gift of your Holy Spirit to open

that word to our lives. We pray, Father, that you would accomplish your purpose in each of our

lives, that we each might grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior,

that we each might be more effective stewards of the opportunities that you bring before us in the days that remain.

As we commit this evening and ourselves into your hands, in the name of Yeshua, our coming king, our kinsman

Redeemer, the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. Okay, we're in the Gospel of Mark and we're going to,

we're moving into the climactic conclusion of the whole gospel. We're in chapter 13. We're going to encounter here

the Lord Jesus' farewell prophecy. This passage we're going to enter in Mark 13 is widely

recognized as one of the most difficult passages in Scripture, and it is the source

of confusion among many different prophetic points of view.

And one of the reasons eschatology, or the study of end times, is so difficult, so challenging,

is because it really requires you to have a grasp of God's whole plan.
