0:44.3	Yeah. Four-Fer 44 through 45. The Babylonian Empire, the captivity predicted to last 70 years and does to the very day.
0:51.7	But that leads to the event that I want to recount a little bit. You see,
0:56.7	there's a young man that surfaces in history, young guy, by the name of Cyrus II. He's
1:04.1	a son of Cambysus I and his wife, Mandane. And Cambasis is the king of an area called Anshan, which is East Elam. And Cyrus's mother
1:14.8	is the daughter of Estiagas, the king of media. Estiagas is a bad dude. He has got a fatal
1:21.6	fault. He's corrupt and weak. Now, if you're corrupt and powerful, you can pull that off,
1:27.4	right? But if you're corrupt and weak, you can pull that off, right? But if you're
1:28.6	corrupt and weak, you're destined, you know, that tends to be career limiting. And so,
1:33.2	anyway, Cyrus is born of the parents, but Camusus I first dies, and so Cyrus accedes to the
1:40.5	throne of East Alam. But the first thing he does, young Cyrus is a pretty savvy dude.
1:46.5	He consolidates the empire into the Persians into a consolidated group. And then after about nine
1:54.3	years of consolidation, he decides to attack his father-in-law. Antisias, Estiagas.
2:01.7	It also turns out that Estiagas, the king, did a dumb thing.
2:05.8	He wronged his key general, a guy by the name of Harbagus.
2:09.8	So when Cyrus attacks Estiagas, his key general,
2:14.2	switches sides and joins Cyrus.
