Summary

Daniel had the most incredible career imaginable; he was transported as a teenage captive to a pagan empire and became the primary confidante to the ruler of Babylon. When Babylonia was taken over by its enemies, he rose to the second or third position in the Persian Empire. There are only two people in the Bible other than Jesus Christ of which no evil is spoken, Joseph and Daniel. The book of Daniel is in two halves: the first six chapters are historical, which deal with the adventures and career of this remarkable man. The second six chapters are some of the most pivotal and important prophecies of the entire Bible. Without a clear understanding of the book of Daniel you will not understand the times in which we live. This study contains 16 hours of verse by verse teachings. What it really says, 2,300 evening mornings, evening mornings, and the King James translators assume that

means days. It may, and they mean something quite different. We'll take a look at that.

1:19.8

What on earth are these 2,300 days? Now this is quite a hot subject. In fact, Seventh-day Adventism

the earth that would be cleansed at his coming. That was their concept. They felt this was a

prediction of the second coming, that it would be 2, days and so forth. And so they knew that Christ's second

coming would be in the year 1843. It didn't happen. They moved it to 1844. It didn't happen.

2:13.5

They moved in. There was a whole history. And it's easy for us looking back to make fun of that.
