Isaiah was the most comprehensive of all prophets: his writing spans the entirety of history, from the creation of the world to the creation of “a new heavens and new earth.” No other prophet matches his majestic eloquence on the glory of God and the redemptive work and sufferings of the Coming Messiah, all the while making us clearly aware of God’s abounding Grace. We're moving toward Isaiah 35. The first 35 chapters of the book of Isaiah

have a certain style, a certain commitment to certain themes. Chapter 40 through 66 is a different focus and emphasis in style.

But the simplest is that John tells us so in John Chapter 12.

by just reading John 12 and discovering that John quotes from Isaiah 6 and Isaiah 53 and says
