happy wednesday i am filming this on monday coming fresh out of seeing life of chuck and i almost

couldn't film today guys this movie destroyed me on a level i didn't think was possible i have not

cried that long and that hard at a movie since I saw

Deathly Hallows part two. I am better for it. Let me just start by saying that. I'm a better person

for having seen that movie. I'm not even being dramatic. I'm not even being biased because it's a

Mike Flanagan movie. This movie genuinely changed my outlook on life

and my appreciation. And I, I'm like about to book a tattoo appointment for tomorrow and go get

like a tattoo in honor of Chuck. That's how life changing it was genuinely. I can't talk about it

too much because I'm not even kidding. I was crying for like an hour after I

left the theater. Like I was crying driving home in my car. I was crying when I got home. Like I will

start spiraling again because it was just so existential and thought provoking and just so beautiful.

And I know I said I'm not biased like even though it's Mike Flanagan, but I truly don't know anybody else whose art could affect me in that way. So as always, thank you to Mike Flanagan for literally changing my life. Like, there is nobody in the game doing it better than Mike Flanagan right now or possibly ever. I, this just solidifies this man's place in film and cinema for me. Like this wasn't even a horror movie, you know,

like he stepped away from that for this. And it's just so much more beautiful than I ever could

have expected. And that's what I'm going to leave it at. You just need to see it. I'm happy that I

saw that before filming this episode because this episode is going to be a lot more lighthearted

than anything Mike Flanagan's ever done because this franchise

that we're talking about today, which is, of course, the Sleepaway Camp franchise, the second and

third specifically are more of horror comedies. Like the first one is definitely like a summer

slasher and the second and third are slasher's as well, but they absolutely are on like the comedic side.
