nights for old teenage hopes alive.

Leslie Feist had been toiling away on the Canadian indie music scene for years and years, but

it wasn't until her album The Reminder came out.

And in particular, one song, one, two, three, four, made its way onto an iPod commercial,

that she blew up here in the United States.

What followed was a huge amount of fame for somebody who says she never set out to be

that famous.

Leslie Feist was in Seattle recently, she's got a new record out, it's called Metals.

She stopped by the TBTL studios to talk about it.

I started by asking her about the cover of the album, which involves a tree that looks

just like an F that Leslie Feist is lying on.
