and last night along with several other churches we celebrated 25 years as pastor your pastor

of c hbc yeah why celebrate we celebrated 25 years as pastor, your pastor of CHBC.

Yeah.

Why celebrate pastoral anniversaries?

I mean, birthdays, wedding anniversaries, pastoral?

Yeah.

I was thinking about this because also earlier this year at the Shepherd's governments,

we were celebrating 50 years of John McArthur's pastorate.

And it struck me yesterday how edifyingly Isaac, who's here with us and Jamie Dunlop, I think also

planned it, pulled this off in a way that I thought it could easily have been wrongly centered

on me.

And certainly you guys did talk about me, and we can do that more if you'd like.

Or if you'd like.

But I thought the way you did the time last night was having the brothers who served here
