And I can enjoy the onset of the Christmas season, which, as we all know starts, the very moment that Thanksgiving is over

and know sooner. Today on the show, I have Luther Ray Abel, my serial killing friend, and we're

going to do a best slash worst episode. That is to say, we're going to raise a topic and then determine which

is the best and the worst in that particular category in these United States. Luther,

people who believe that I do your voice, even now. Of course. Well, I don't. Oh. All right. Let's start. Best,

So for this, I have Shelby.

So if we're talking brands, this might be a little bit of a cheat because what he really was was a skunk works for performance vehicles.

But he did start out outside of Ford and outside of Dodge.

And so he saw the framework of what the British racers were using.

And he loved everything about it except the power plant, the engine.

And he was like, well, what if we just

take this big old, reliable American V8, we marry it with this English chassis? That might be

pretty great. And it was. And so we found a lot of success, first domestically beating up on

the Corvette and then internationally beating up on the Corvette, and then internationally

beating up on Ferrari. And you've probably seen Ford versus Ferrari, but they had become

accustomed to winning everything. And so for this upstart American to take parts bin kind of stuff and to beat them at their game was just more
