I like living with someone. I like making a life with someone I like the companionship and travel and the physical intimacy

I think I don't make great choices like a lot of us I had a difficult childhood, a very difficult father and

I think sadly like the idea of blaming your parents forever I know is really tiresome but

there's some reality to that idea that we respond to being loved in the way that we were

loved as children even if it was super fucked up and that is definitely

something I suffer from. That was Nina Collins. I'm San Francisco, and this is Talky's.

Before we get into today's episode, I wanted to start with something that happened this past weekend in my life. I don't always try to do

the whole Marin thing of over sharing about every little thing that occurs because it's not that

interesting and no one really cares that much but since the show is

delayed by a day we usually release on Sunday morning, Sunday afternoon I want to give a brief

explanation.

Essentially a few friends and I were up in San Francisco shooting another short film and while we were shooting someone by the time we got back to my car and broken into it.

I imagine many people listening have had this happen either in their car or their home.

I somehow have lived 23 years and not had that happen until this weekend.

So when we got back to the car one window was broken and only two things were

taking there was a whole car full of things in the car were so many items, so many pieces of luggage because I was driving folks up from

Los Angeles and stupidly in the backseat I left my laptop bag and another person's backpack I had put two

coats over it to block the bags but I think people realize there was stuff in there and they went in and they took my laptop bag
