I wanted to continue kind of with, you know, the background of, you know, what the state of what was called the new physics was in the lead up to the Second World War,

especially because as we touched on, more than touched on as we got into but not completely last time.

There was this idea very much reinforced by the Oppenheimer film,

which in some ways I thought was a good film. In other ways I thought it was not a good film at all.

I mean, well, we can get into that maybe when it's more at Propo, but there's this narrative that there was this kind of mad race.

There's one or two narratives.

It's either that there was this race by all major powers to weaponize atomic energy and

feverishly you know at Cambridge, at Chicago, University of Berlin, you know,

presumably somewhere in the Soviet Union,
