Frank Trigg was one of the pioneers that got into the sport.

He was fighting, you know, in that early 2000s time where MMA was coming from this, you know, really basically this thing that nobody knew about, you know,

because when I was younger and I was getting into fighting, I would talk to people and, you know,

you know, because I was wrestling and I was, you know, getting ready to do Jiu-Jitsu,

and I was like, I want to go fight MMA and someone would say, well, MMA, like, what is, what's that like?

What is that? know, it's like the UFC and it's like these things and they wouldn't know what it is. And I would have to explain it to people and say, oh, it's like this, have you seen that thing

where the guys fight in the cage?

And they were like, yeah, I've seen that before.

And that's how you would have to describe it to people during this time period.

And Frank Trigg was one of as mima then moved into tv and everybody saw what it was and
