Well, good evening. And on behalf of Pastor J.D. Farag, we would like to welcome you to our Thursday night live stream service here at Calvite Chapel, Kani'oi, where we are normally going through the Old Testament, conducting our line-by-line teaching in the Bible. But tonight, we will be conducting a topical study. And before we begin, why don't we have a word of prayer and ask for the Lord's blessing upon tonight's teaching?

Father in heaven, thank you, Lord, so much for all that you continue to do in and throughout our lives.

And we pray that you would just bless us now with your presence

and meet us here as we freely give back the time that you've given to us to hear your word.

And may we not only hear it, but heed it and live by it and become better stewards of your word.

It witnesses for those who do not know you.

So Lord, speak loudly tonight for us and boldly.

We thank you so much for that which only you can do

and are about to do in the power and strength of your might.

In the mighty name of

Yeshua, Jesus, the Christ we pray. Amen. So tonight, our study is titled, My Atheist Friend. And I personally do not know of one Christian who has not and or still does not have

people in their lives, associates and friends who do not believe in God at all.

And not believing in God is not new, nor is the influence of atheism.

And what an atheist is today is not what they were many years ago. And that kind of complicates things to a degree. And when we look what's inside

what we know as the professional arena, many people who do not believe in God are excellent professionals.

Wouldn't you agree? Especially in their conduct, often putting Christians to shame.

And in many cases, when having several short encounters with atheists, they're disbelieved

toward God.

It's not even recognized until something sets them off. And when

it's triggered, it will become evident for most of us to see. And that should not be a shock to any of us to see.

And that should not be a shock to any of us.

And nor should it always lead to abandoning a conversation.
