This is Talk Easy and for the last year and a half

we've been doing a pretty standard interview format show where I sit down with someone for about an hour and we try to figure out their lives.

I attempted to do that with the wonderful talented musician Heather Christian a few weeks ago and we did we had

such a wonderful interview it was about 90 minutes long it was raining really hard outside and it was one of those episodes that I was really excited

to share and then I will just be honest last weekend when Dylan and I were in the process of starting

editing this show I could not find the file of the interview.

In my eight or nine years of interviewing people,

this has actually never happened before.

I've never full on lost a conversation with another person and that is why this

week we are doing a brief episode about loss. Last week on the Michael Imperiali podcast,

I put a call out there for listeners to submit stories

in which they lost someone or something,

and then we were going to share them on the show. But I have a

feeling those who listen were a bit shy about offering up a potentially tragic story about loss and so we didn't receive

any submissions, not one. I did not get a voicemail, I did not get an email and you know this is not that sex money when an sale

so I think it was an unusual ask so I apologize for the unusual ask. But look, it's Saturday morning I woke up and

realize we do not have a show and so we made a show.

So what you're about to hear are three different conversations.

The first one is with Heather Christian,

as we talk about our lost episode together and then a whole bunch of other

interesting things.
