Hello, welcome to the Nothing Is Wasted Podcast. My name is Davy, I'm your

host and joining me for the special Thanksgiving episode, Mel, our co-host. Mel,

happy Thanksgiving. Thank you, Davy, happy Thanksgiving to you.

You guys got any plans for today?

We do.

My grandfather texted us all a while back

and it's kind of uncharacteristic of him

him, he's kind of uncharacteristic of him, but he essentially called the whole family to the table

and was like, hey, I would like to do one big everybody, so like all of his kids and then all the grandkids and

then all the great-grandkids an entire get-together which this is a big

family so he wants we're doing an entire thing all of us one last time is what he said he

said one last time I'm like grandpa like hold on a second I know I was like hold on a second and so he we're doing it at a

church we're actually doing a big Thanksgiving get-together that being hosted at his

church but it's gonna be fun because it'll throw back to the old

Thanksgiving memories that we have of getting together with all the cousins and

playing you know a rousing game of football that you know uncles versus cousins and all that kind of stuff.

So it's just going to be so much fun.

I'm really looking forward to it, but I was kind of curious as to what prompted

in my grandpa this like urgency you know yeah he loves the

Lord and he you know like I don't want him to to die but he's definitely
