Sometimes I come across a case that leaves me in utter disbelief, but possibly not in the way that you think. There are many times where

the depravity of a case is truly shocking. It makes you question humanity and you're left thinking

about it for days, months or even years afterwards. But sometimes the shock factor doesn't come from the crime

itself. It comes from the completely unbelievable way that it's handled by the justice system.

If you haven't heard Ellen Greenberg's case before now, then I'm certain that after today's episode, it's unlikely you'll forget it.

the Ellen Greenberg was born in New York on the 23rd of June, 1983, to her parents, Josh and Sandy.

She was an intelligent woman, she had a degree in communications, and she'd also trained as a teacher.

In 2011, Ellen was a first grade teacher at the Juniaha Park Academy School in Philadelphia.

She was engaged to be married to a man called Samuel Goldberg.

Samuel worked as a television producer for NBC Sports and the pair were planning a wedding.
