host and joining me our co-host Mel. Mel, I want to talk a little bit about

parenting before we go into this interview with

Colleen because we're this is smack dab right where we are in life where we're

kind of navigating the typical struggles that you have as parent parents and you're trying to figure out how do I

raise my kids to become great adults who love Jesus, who contribute to society, who love

people, who are, you know, and in this interview today we talk with

Colleen about some parenting struggles that she has now I don't want I want to make

sure the listener hears me say I'm not in any way trying to compare parenting struggles.

I think it's really I think it's futile for any of us to compare.

Hey this you know it's harder for me as a parent than it is for you.

She's got some really heavy parenting struggles because we're talking about parenting. for you're

because we're talking about parenting you know she she is parenting a child with

with a disability and and that that is that has a whole nother, you know, just realm of walking through and struggles that invokes.

And so she talks a bit about this, but I want to talk specifically about some things that you and

Charlie are doing in terms of shepherding the hearts of your kids, because I think the goal

for parenting, no matter what, no matter what your kids are like is not to try to

Modify behavior or correct behavior, but it's to shepherd the heart and yeah, so what are some things you guys are facing right now?

So I would say, you know, I homeschool, one of my favorite authors is Charlotte Mason, super old lady, and she said it is your

civic responsibility to raise decent human beings. And so she said, my greatest contribution
