So Jim Garrity got some big news from Iran overnight. We got some more huge targeted killings.

This guy, Lara Johnny, key power behind this regime.

He's gone ahead of the militia that gunned down so many people, tens of thousands,

during the protest a couple months ago. He is also gone. Other side of the ledger, the Strait

of Hermuz is still effectively closed. The Iranians are letting some shipping through their own,

of course. A couple of others.

We have Marines headed toward the region, more Marines headed towards the region.

What do you make of it?

Well, with one or two glaring exceptions, the war is actually going pretty well.

The Iranian military is a shadow of its former self.

There's a sentence in the New York Times this morning, quote,

a tanker anchored off the coast to the United Arab Emirates near the Strait of Hormuz was hit by a projectile early Tuesday,

which sounds like bad news.

When you read, the first such strike in and around the vital waterway in five days,

a British maritime monitoring agency said, oh, we haven't had any Iranian strikes on ships in five days? That sounds like pretty good news. That does indicate that the number of Iranian missile

launchers, drone launchers, and their ballistic missiles and all of that, their capacity to strike targets

in the Persian Gulf is indeed diminishing pretty darn rapidly. But as you noted in the corner a couple
