Hello everyone and welcome to the Stephen King cast, one man's musings on the works of Stephen King.

Each week, I will review one entry in the bibliography of Stephen King in the chronological order of publication.

At least that's what it used to be, once upon a time.

Now it is a podcast where I just get to talk about all things related to Stephen King.

So for those of you who are joining for the first time,

welcome to the Stephen King cast.

The genesis of this podcast was Once Upon a Time.

I had just finished reading a Stephen King novel,

and like I tend to do with movies that I watch,

I hopped on to the podcast app to see if I could find any

podcasts talking about the book that I had just read, which I believe was Dr. Sleep or Under the

dome. And I couldn't find any podcasts talking about it. There wasn't anything that had a deep dive.

So I let that marinate

for a while for a year or two, and then ultimately I wound up creating the podcast that I would

like to listen to, which was a deep exploration of each of the works of Stephen King and the

chronological order of publication. So for those of you who are joining,

you have a lot of material right at your disposal through the back catalog that you can that you can listen to. So feel free. You don't have to start here. You know, you can start at

Carrie and make your way through or pick and choose from your favorite Stephen King stories and movies.

So now, because we are living in a world that is rich with Stephen King material, I get

to podcast about, you know, whatever is Stephen King related.

And what I'm going to be doing today, I'll be talking about episodes four through six of HBO's It,
