Hello everyone and welcome to the Stephen King cast, One Man's Musings on the Works of Stephen King.

Each week I will review one entry in the bibliography of Stephen King in the chronological order of publication,

and this week I'm turning my attention long overdue to the adaptation of Stephen King's novella, adapted recently

by Mike Flanagan, the author and genius of Netflix projects such as Midnight Mass,

the haunting of Hillhouse, the haunting of Bly Manor,

the fall of the House of Usher,

and other Stephen King properties such as Dr. Sleep,

and Gerald's game.

That's right, I am here to talk about the 2025 movie starring Tom Hiddleston

and a bunch of other actors and actresses, Stephen King's The Life of Chuck. So I'll be talking

about this today. I have a lot of thoughts on it. It's definitely worth talking about. And before I get there,

I just wanted to welcome everyone back who have decided to tune in and stay tuned in and

for coming back, whether it's just been a week, a couple weeks, or years at this point.

Let me tell you a little bit about this podcast, and I do apologize to those that have heard this time and time again.

But I think that much like Stan Lee

always said, every issue is someone's first issue of a comic book, and every episode of the

Stephen King cast is someone's first episode of the Stephen King cast. So once upon a time,

I had finished a recent Stephen King novel. I do believe it was either 1122 or Under the Dome or Dr. Sleep, something within that

time frame.
