for Normal People.

Today we're going to talk about Colossians.

This book was important to me during my various transitions

of faith, but it's also a little frustrating.

So we're going to talk about a few of my frustrations

with the book, which we'll get into in a bit.

Colossians has some controversial sections

in it, primarily here in chapter three,

where it gives some rules that we might find unacceptable today,

like wives submit to your husbands, slaves, obey your masters,

in everything.

I'm probably not going to solve all these problems today,

but I want to talk about them nonetheless.

I want to talk about some of the ways that I've thought

through these.
