0:19.8	I got an Instagram message from Isaac a few weeks ago.
0:23.7	He had listened to Elder Jack Smith podcast, Episode 825, a black gay, Latter-day Saint on a service mission,
0:32.7	and reached out to me and said, could I be on the podcast?
0:37.4	And I said, of course you can, because we're just looking for stories from brave,
0:43.3	courageous people.
0:45.3	And Isaac is one of those.
0:47.3	Let me give you a little background on Isaac.
0:49.3	He lives in Utah County.
0:51.3	He is a Black Latter-day Saint.
0:53.3	He's adopted at about two months old. He is gay.
0:58.1	He's in his mid-30s. He is an active Latter-day Saint. He's also worked through prison time.
1:06.8	He's off parole, and I kind of wanted to figure out where he was on that journey before he was on the podcast.
1:12.1	He's off parole.
1:13.1	So he's done his time.
1:14.6	Part of that he's going to talk about just why he went to prison and what he learned and how we found hope to go forward.
1:23.6	That will be a tender part of the podcast and I hope that I admire Isaac willing to talk about
1:31.0	that. He was very upfront with me and his first message to me and I just hope that it gives
