This week,

we're broadcasting live from a house in Quest of Verde discussing the 1982 supernatural horror film, Poltergeist. This film was directed by Toby Hooper from a screenplay by Stephen Spielberg,

Michael Grace, and Mark Victor. Born out of a collaborative effort between Hooper and Spielberg,

Poltergeist wowed audiences and critics alike upon its release,

boasting impressive special effects and frightening visuals, all while grounded in an emotional

story of a family in a haunted suburban home. Despite the controversy surrounding who

actually directed the film and rumors of the franchise being cursed,

Poltergeist remains an incredibly influential film in the genre and is widely considered a horror

classic. This film was suggested to us by friend of the show, J.M. Brandt. He is the co-writer of
