On today's episode, we're going to be talking about how miscarriage has shaped motherhood.

Liz and I have been friends for some years now, and she is a beam of light. I knew about her first

miscarriage and we bonded over it because last January my husband and I experienced a miscarriage. The hurt of losing a pregnancy was

unreal and I felt really alone. Recently Liz opened up on Facebook and I had been wanting to ask her to be on the show

to talk about her losses but I didn't want to approach the situation in a way that made

her feel like she had to.
