I want to talk to you this afternoon about a very serious issue, and one that I think we all ought to care about.

It's about a miscarriage of justice, about the death of a loving Sydney mum, and about someone who I believe has got away with murder.

Ben Fordham, a prominent journalist for the Nine Television Network, and a leading broadcaster for top rating radio station 2GB,

has been listening to the evidence and the witnesses in these podcast episodes.

What is needed now is a faired income, no holds barred, take no prisoners approach to solving this case.

Ben's been doing his own research too, talking to senior cops for background briefings and interviewing members of Lynne's family.

But sadly the director of public prosecutions has been of the view that there's not enough evidence to proceed with a case against Chris Dawson.

There's a lot of history here, including accusations that back in the 1980s, local police were too close to Chris Dawson and too quick to believe he's story.

The past can't be changed, we need to focus on the here and now.

Everyone who has the power to bring justice to the family of Lynne needs to get off their arses and start delivering.

That means a high energy approach from New South Wales police and police should consider digging for Lynne's body at the old family home in Bayview.

It also means the director of public prosecutions Lloyd Babb giving his personal attention to this matter and considering whether there's enough new evidence to bring a charge of murder against Chris Dawson.

There's only ever been one suspect and right now he's a free man.
