and was immediately replaced in the home at Bayview by Joanne Curtis,

the teenage lover since year 11 of her high school sports teacher, Chris Dawson.

After Joanne wed Chris and became Chanel's young stepmother in early 1984,

the hastily reconstructed family left Bayview for good

and moved north to the Gold Coast with Paul Dawson, Marlon, and their three daughters.

Chris and his twin brother Paul, again bought Aikari's land near a theme park called Dreamwild,

and they built large houses very close to each other.
