I've had a pretty chilled out week. It has to be said the jet lag was tough this time around. Like I've had jet lag before, but I spent about two days when I got back to Dublin not quite knowing what anything was or where I was or what was going on like not all the time but you just have these little

moments where everything fogs over so I was in the butchers the other day and I was just

standing looking at the meat and I just realized I had no idea what any of it was and

then you come back into the room and you understand that's a

lamb chop, that's a chicken, that's a steak, that's an ostrich. I'm kidding.

We don't really do a lot of ostrich here. But anyway, those are the kinds of things that happened this week but I feel better I've been

Mainlining the the multivitamins you know trying to eat healthy all that kind of stuff because well

It's pre-season preparation for me right now

because next week this time next week more or less will be on the cusp of a new

season our first game against wolves and it barely feels like there's been any gap whatsoever.

For us as fans, imagine what it must feel like for the players, particularly those guys who are

away during the summer playing Euro 2024, Cop America.

But this is the job.

This is the incredible good fortune they have to be the best players, among the best players in the world.

They get to play football for a living.

They get paid a lot of money.

They get to play for the best club in the world,

which is Arsel, the club that we all love.
