So if you didn't listen to Part 1, I don't even know really if you have to because most of the events in part one get recapped in part two just it's through the eyes of the French justice system.

So I mean, if you skip part one,

But real quick if you if you didn't listen to part one just before we get started on the events of part two and how this book wraps up and it you know it doesn't get happier you know if you did listen to

part one it was but it's a pretty it's just a bummer of a book to like all

together but I did think about this that I think I'm comparing it to the other books we've I've you know we've done on the show which is like

Red Badge of Courage 1984

Like these are books that were sort of meant I guess 1984 is sort of the same thing or it's a long form

How Orwell saw the world

Animal Farms the same thing now I was trying to give kammu the benefit of the doubt here and be like,

well, this is a book that's meant to convey his philosophy about the earth.

I'm trying to give him an out here. I'm I look I was pretty nervous about doing this part too because I was I think I overworked both of these

Because it's just it's just a weird one man it's a French abstract novel some people

call it existentialist novel the author was a it and still is's dead now but he still is a famous French

philosopher Albert Camu and the book was published in 1941 but I was I was trying to be

like you can't compare it to something that was written for the sake of entertainment
