| 0:42.0 | Welcome to Citizen, we got a very special guest today. |
| 0:45.0 | Adam Hadari, please introduce yourself and tell people who you are, what you do, a little bit of your background, so on. |
| 0:53.0 | Absolutely. First off, thanks for having me. My name is Adam Hadari. I'm a former law enforcement officer in South Carolina. |
| 1:01.0 | Left Law Enforcement in 2020 to help better the profession. I run a page called Police Post on Instagram. |
| 1:11.0 | I also own and founded two companies, Effective Fitness Training and Effective Fitness Combatives. |
| 1:18.0 | And there we seek to train above the standard for law enforcement officers. |
| 1:24.0 | As you've seen in the past couple of years, particularly law enforcement has kind of been under attack, politically, as for some of their responses to certain situations. |
| 1:36.0 | And so our job is to make sure they're getting the proper training in order to be more prepared for the job. |
| 1:42.0 | And what is it, I guess if you were trying to diagnose the issue aside from the symptom itself, what would you say the root causes of the lack of training are? |
| 1:55.0 | Well, you could always say budget. Budget is always one. But I would also say it's lack of understanding and education from leadership and the ability to want to change. |

| 2:22.0 | And so it's easier just to keep doing what you're doing than to actually affect change that is beneficial for the agency. |
| 2:30.0 | So I would say leadership and budget, probably the two biggest role players and why things aren't changing as quickly as they could. |
| 2:38.0 | Do you think there's, I guess, let me see how to say this, are there agencies out there that you're familiar with that are doing things the right way? |
| 2:48.0 | Absolutely. Absolutely. Yeah. |
| 2:51.0 | Could you give me some examples of those and what they're doing that other people aren't doing? |
| 2:55.0 | Yeah, you know, there are a few examples mostly in states like Florida, Texas, South Carolina, where they have, I would say, |
| 3:05.0 | they have more conservative states for lack of a better way to put it. And that's just because of, of, I guess their values and what they hold important to them. |
| 3:18.0 | Right. So, you know, obviously, keeping criminals away and putting them away is extra, plays a role on society. Right. And so, I'll give an example of one agency. |
