Welcome to Citizen, we got a very special guest today. Actually, well, not technically your

second time since it's a different show, I suppose, but more or less the same, Sunil Sharma.

How's it going, buddy?

Yeah, good thanks. Good to be back. I've been following your show. It's such a great, such a great

concept. And as much, we see like this here in the UK. So yeah, we're good stuff that you guys are

doing.

Well, tell for people that didn't see the, when you were on a American party before, tell them about

yourself who you are, what you do.

Yeah, so I work full-time in, in finance, that's my sort of day job. I was part of a small team that

started a group called Concert Friends of the Commonwealth, a nonprofit organisation around seven

years ago, which the concept of trying to connect our government with other Commonwealth governments across the

world is sort of closer relationships of trade, whether it's human rights, just trying to get more

cross-collaboration for people who don't know what the Commonwealth is. It's essentially ex-British

colonies, so countries like Australia, New Zealand, Canada, India. So we were trying to build closer

ties with these countries and after the European Union, so we had exited European Union, after

Brexit, the referendum vote that had happened. We thought this was a really good opportunity now for

the country to be more focused on building trade and building relationships with people that we

have a bit more historic and cultural history with, and so that's essentially how I've sort of,

when we started it maybe seven years ago, it was quite a small team we've grown since then. It's

become a lot more topical now. A lot of people will talk more about the Commonwealth and we've kind
