So Phil Klein, terrible news over the weekend.

Joe Biden has staged for cancer, prostate cancer that has spread to the bone. This immediately created a debate about

whether we just need to shut up about the attempted White House cover-up of his physical

and mental decline while he was present and wish him well and hope for the best, which we

obviously all do, or whether you can wish him well and hope for the best, which we obviously all do,

or whether you can wish him well and hope for the best and continue to debate what happened

while he was president of the United States.

A lot of people, including yours truly, are suspicious of the timing here.

If you're damage control specialist and you want to step

on a highly damaging book that's being released on a Tuesday, you would release such news if you

had it in your back pocket on a Sunday evening. And it did have the attended effect, at least

among some sympathetic Democrats.
