Black History Month is an annual observance of black excellence.

In honor of black excellence, the Legion of Skanks would like to celebrate history's greatest achievements in cultural appropriation.

Today, we honor Rachel and Dolezal.

Born November 12, 1977 in Lincoln County, Montana to Ruth Ann and Laurence Dolezal.

Our daughter is primarily German and Czech and at pre-European descent.

Despite her blue eyes and straight blonde hair, Rachel managed to ingratiate her way into being elected

as a chapter president of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.

When it comes to hair, hair is for black women much more than just an aesthetic.

Much like the brave efforts of the 1950s black rights activists, Rachel was hosed by the white man when her very own parents questioned her blackness.

It's alarming that Rachel continues to make false statements and have no acknowledgement that she has been doing that and has become an issue.

I don't understand the question.

Amidst the growing controversy of transracialism, she was forced to resign and disappeared from the spotlight.

Like Maya Angelou says, you know, through all of this struggle, through all of the pain, we still rise.

And rise she did resurfacing on only fans where she currently earns a living to support her three kids as a single mother.

So today, we honor you, Rachel Dolezal, for reminding us that no matter what color we pretend to be on the outside, we are all still pink on the inside.
