And I said earlier on the first podcast of the second half of season seven, that we were going to be taking a lot of audience and fan questions.

And one question that we get consistently over and over and over again is what does it

take to make an episode, kind of take us through all the things you do to make an episode.

So that's what we're going to do today. We're going to go through

obviously the first thing we do. All the writers, we've read the books, and we break down the

stories. And then once the stories for the season are broken down, we break them down into episodes.

And then we get this question quite a bit

is how do you assign episodes? And it's really fairly simple. A lot of times it's just a

writer saying, hey, I love that story. Can I write that one? And that's pretty simple when it

comes to assigning a story.

When someone's passionate about a story, you want them to write that story.

So we also have a hierarchy in the room.

So, you know, the higher level writers would get to pick their stories first.

And then, you know, as you go through the ranks.

But most of the time over the course of, you know, these seven go through the ranks. But most of the time, over the course of, you know, these seven seasons, as far as I

can remember, most of the time you get the story that you want.
