I'm going to let you into a little secret. I am terrified of my children wanting to go on a gap year.

They're in primary school, so I have a good few years before that might happen.

But the thought of the humans I love most in the world, travelling and being often unaccounted

for on those travels makes me shiver.

I think a big part of that fear comes from today's case.

You're since hearing about it. I've never forgotten it.

And this has become one of my most requested cases.

What should have been a life-changing experience for an incredible young woman was life-ending.

I'm Naomi Channel and this is real. The Grace Emmy, Rose, Malayne, was born on the 2nd of December, 1996.

She was from Wickford in Essex and she had a loving family and many, many friends. Since she was a little girl, she dreamed of travelling the world.

She studied at the University of Lincoln, where she'd studied advertising and marketing, and after her graduation,

she decided to live out her dream and go backpacking around the world. Grace had been close with

her mother, father, and her two brothers, Michael and Declan. If you look at Grace's social media,

I'm certain it wouldn't be long before you were smiling.

Her photos show her with friends on nights out and pictures from her travels.

One picture stands out to me.

It's a picture of Grace and she's holding a baby girl.

She looks so content and happy and it's clear from this snapshot of her life that she was

loved and trusted by so many. On her Instagram, she had two categories saved as highlights,

content including a beautiful dog called Benson and another labelled travels. She'd uploaded pictures and videos from her travels since

she began her gap year. She'd gone around South America for six weeks, visiting countries including Peru.
