When we were breaking the episodes early on in the room,

we always knew because we always do this even when we have even when we have even when we had 13

episodes and went down to 12 we always do a break called a mid-season break and that's the way we break story that's the way we break story that's the way we deliver the the episodes to stoning and stars with the intention of having you know some sort of break in the middle sometimes it's as short as two three weeks and

then other times it can kick up be longer than that.

But so we knew we knew going in episode eight than that

episode 8 would be that episode given the fact that there's you know we had 16 episodes

it was pretty pretty simple to just point in the middle and go let's you know

let's drive the story to episode 8 have our moment of our cliffhangers and ready for the second half is what we called it.

The other thing that we're acutely aware of that when you go out into the world we go week to week or one show that does that we air week to week and other shows you know drop, they drop the whole season.

And those shows can play in their episodes a little differently in the sense that they know they're going to be binged or watched, you know, sometimes there's eight episodes, sometimes 10 and a lot of people just watch those

in the course of a week or a couple weeks, they drive right through them. And you don't, in those instances, you don't have to create

as many cliffhangers because you don't have to bring people back.

They're going to be right there, you know, they're going to watch the next episode

because it's available.

So for us, we know that we create sometimes many cliffhangers and sometimes bigger cliffhangers.

This episode has a bigger cliffhanger of course.

I'm going to digress here slightly because I always like when

Jamie goes off, gets himself hurt usually injured near death. Claire finds him that the visceral reaction of the

relief of seeing the loved one alive and well, you know, and and

It's that moment where you want to shake him and go,
