Today's episode is a special one.

Do you know why it's a special episode?

Because we are going to learn about a love story.

Yes, there are love stories in the Bible

and today's love story is about Isaac and Rebecca. So far we have learned that

Isaac was the promised son the Lord gave to Abraham and Sarah. Abraham and Sarah had waited many years to have a child and Isaac was the son given to them in their old age

Well Isaac grew up he grew to be a young man, and as Abraham was getting even older

in age, he knew that it was time for Isaac to marry and have a family of his own. But there was one problem.

Abraham had moved from his original homeland to Canaan, just as God had told him.

And now that Abraham, Sarah, and Isaac were living in Canaan,

Abraham didn't want his son Isaac to marry any of the girls that were living in the land of Canaan. Instead he wanted

Isaac to marry a girl from Abraham's homeland back where Abraham had come from

back where his family lived and where he had lived before he moved.

So, Abraham called to one of his servants.

He said to his servant, I want you to go back to my country and my own relatives

and I want you to find a wife from my son Isaac. Wait a minute, stop the story.
