the political world was rocked, shocked, stunned to its core by an Anne Seltzer poll out of Iowa. She is the gold standard.

You cannot refer to her without saying that she is the gold standard of Iowa polling jams.

I hope you'll honor this rule that shows Kamala Harris up by three in Iowa, not in a swing state, but in Iowa.

Up by three in a state that everyone thought was a comfortable

Trump margin. In fact, Emerson has him up by nine or ten. The shrewder take on this poll is,

all right, you know, maybe we don't believe that margin. Trump's not going to lose Iowa, but

shows strength among seniors and independent women.

And maybe that's translating.

Maybe that's translating to elsewhere and battleground states in the Midwest.

And maybe this is just a demographic trend, a drift here at the end that has been picked up by other polling yet.

But certainly Democrats in the media have taken a lot of heart
