Preseason is heating up.

The team are in Germany preparing for a game against FC Nürnberg on Friday,

which is tomorrow when I'm recording this.

It could be today when you're listening to it or indeed yesterday,

depending on whenever it is you get around to listening to this particular episode.

The first part of the week, exciting.

You got Gabriel Jesus over the line done and dusted and you know what,

it's one of those where so much has been said in the last couple of weeks

that you almost have to just sort of draw a line underneath it after you discuss

the official announcement which we did on Monday on the R-Scast extra

with Tim who was filling in for James who was on his holidays.

But since then, not much has happened that can be talked about

and nothing has happened publicly in terms of transfers or anything like that.

So rather than rehash rumors and talk about which position is most important to

do a signing and do a signing, make a signing and whatever way you want to put it,

I thought we might do something a little bit different on today's show.

And I'm delighted to welcome somebody who was until a few months ago,

the digital content manager of Arsenal.com.
