from a mysterious sub-basement discussing the 1973 British horror anthology, The Vault of Horror.

This film was directed by Roy Ward Baker with the screenplay by Milton Sabotsky based on stories

from Al Feldstein and Bill Gaines. Taking stories from the tales from the crypt and shock suspense stories comics provided

the vault of horror with creepy, intriguing, and unique stories to be brought to life.

This film was suggested to us by friend of the show and our mom, Nisa Hunter.

She's always been super supportive of the show and without her, two of us literally would not be here.

So what did you guys think about the vault of horror the first time you saw it?

I watched it for the first time today.

Really?

I've never heard of this movie or seen it or anything, but I enjoyed it.

Hell yes. You're a wild card. I never know. I hoped you would. Well, we watched it on, what was the app again? Movie Land TV. Okay. But you watched it, you said on a DVD, right? Yeah. Well, on the Movieland TV app, it looked like trash.

Yeah.

No, it did. I tried to watch it on there, and I saw the aspect ratio was all fucked up, and I'm like, I'm out of here. Well, I looked at it, and I'm like, oh, 1973. Yeah. I just dealt with it. That's what I thought. Yeah. I promise the film looks really good. you guys were given a you guys were dealt a bad hand.

I'll watch it again.

It's that good to me. I just watched it. I'll watch it again. Me too. And it looked good when I watched it. I do want to say one thing before. The music is fucking terrific. Yes. It's so good. It's so dramatic. Yeah. I was like, this shit is going off. Yes. It's so fitting of what they're doing. Yeah. Because when you think of EC Comics, that stuff was over the top. Oh, yeah. You know, so it just fit perfectly, I thought. And you do too. So it's good. But no, I've loved this movie since childhood. Yeah. It's kind of perfect that mom suggested it because she's the one that showed it to us in the first place. And also, this episode, I believe, is coming out the week after her birthday. Yeah. So timely to cover it. Yeah. Happy birthday last week, Mom.

I mean, like I said, with that EC Comics influence, I feel like a lot of people have heard of Tales from the Crypt, but not so much

the vault of horror.
