Today's episode is episode 68.

This episode was ready to go yesterday on Thanksgiving, but somehow it didn't seem quite right to be publishing an episode on JFK's autopsy on Thanksgiving Day.

I do hope each and every one of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and that if you're blessed this week with an extra day off,

you'll be able to find some time over this long weekend to listen to what

will be several episodes published as we continue our autopsy series. As you know, when we did

the series on the Zer Pruder film and when we did the Deely Plaza series, both those series

mushroomed in terms of coverage and morphed into quite a few episodes,

quite a few parts, if you will, to cover the topic in the way that we wanted to.

And the same has already begun to happen here, I suppose.

I am trying to keep as many of these episodes as possible to around 30 to 40 minutes each,

which is my target length for an episode.

That should make it easier to digest.

As you know, the Seabird and O'Neill FBI 302 report is the closest we have to a true evidential story tell of the assassination autopsy.

And as you know, I really have a preference for going back to the official documents and understanding

what's in them. First, before we begin to analyze what's right and wrong or what's in conflict, and really before we do any major storytelling.

And so I've been out of sequence a little bit in this series already with some of the things that we're doing here in the story of the autopsy,

but it's still early on, early enough that it's probably just the right time to

introduce the Seabird and O'Neill report in its entirety. It's actually not long at all,

and it's chock full of important facts that document what went on in the autopsy, and it also

brings up some interesting questions as well. So let's read it together, and that way you'll
