And when Matthew suggested this episode to me by text, it was really hard to tell whether punch was a noun or a verb.

Yeah, it's like dance, dance like nobody's watching. Punch like at school dances.

That's right. So yeah, anyway, we're talking about non-alcoholic punches today. Yeah.

And I also want to say right off the bat that doing the research for this episode made me realize that we should do like an alcoholic punch episode.

Matthew, what's on your punch like at school dances memory lane?

So this particular kind of punch that has Orange Sherbert dissolved into it, I really think

as more of like a elementary school thing rather than a school

dance thing. Like your parents drag you to a party at someone's house and like there are other

kids there that you have to play with. But on the upside, there's a punch. There's a bowl of punch

and it's like the kind of punch you would only get at a punch party. I think of it as a

wedding thing, like weddings of the 80s, maybe, weddings of the early 90s.

And I also, I don't remember ever encountering this at a school dance.

I think it's also kind of a bridal shower thing.

Oh, that makes sense.

Or like a baby shower kind of thing.
