long time ago. It was just you listening to me.

I don't have that much to say, but I've learned to develop a platform for others to share their

Today's guest is my friend Laurel Great House.

Welcome to the podcast, Laurel.

Hi, Richard.

Thank you for having me.

Laurel sent me an email a while ago and shared a little bit about her story.

And that probably took a little courage to find my email and share a little bit about her story.

And now we're doing a podcast together.

Laurel's going to, the core of her story is leaving the church for four years and dating women.

And now, and in 2018, returning to the church, and that's five years ago. She's been active in the church ever since. She has same gender attractions. She's going to talk about that road. And as you know,

we share a lot of different stories. And the purpose of that is if you're not straight or queer or

same gender attraction, listening to all these stories will help you write your own

story. And if you're an ally or local church leader or parent, these kind of stories will help

you. But Laurel's really brave to share her story. She grew up in Southern California in

Ventura County, Ventura City. I think it's a city in Ventura County.
