Des Moines. We talk about U.S. played to a one-one draw with Chile on Thursday night and the match is actually kind of hard to summarize.

It wasn't horrible. It wasn't great.

We were missing Westin McKinney and Tyler Adams and Christian Pulisic came off for reportedly

precautionary reasons after a half hour. The Trinity left us in Houston.

Overall, the Trinity ascendedended, I believe.

Oh man, I don't know if that's right. I don't know if they did ascend.

But anyway, overall, how'd you feel about the game?

It was, I was actually bells, I was actually eager to watch it. I was, uh, I knew it was going to be kind of an underwhelming lineup, but I was very interested

to see how sort of an underwhelming lineup that had had several weeks

in training in January to learn this system was going to perform.

I think a lot of us felt that this is not our best group of

talent. So for me it was kind of an experiment to see if if that was

correct or if Berhalter could somehow shape a bunch of decent players into a team that could control the game the way Berhalter wants to control the game.

Yeah, and the answer is no, I mean we didn't control the game. Yeah and the answer is no I mean we didn't control the game. Not at all. No very little

control in that game. It's weird though because we could have we didn't control the game. I mean Chile

controlled the game that I think they had twice the possession we had,

or completed twice the number of passes we completed.

But, you know, we could have stolen a win out of that game.

And it's not like they were just

peppering our goal so I don't know it's that's why I think it's kind of a hard game

to come to conclusions about but let's let's try to do it anyway.
