We had this course that my mom and I would run together, and so I would wake up 5 or 6 a.m.

when I couldn't sleep and just go out and run during the sunrise.

And I told myself, okay, when you see the sun, that's her.

And that kind of was a way to help me through.

And I've always felt the most calm, and now I feel kind of the most connected when I'm out there running with her.
