Summary

Have you ever shared a win or a celebration that you were proud of, only to have someone try to knock you down? A funny thing happens when we reveal our confidence; it triggers those who are lacking it. In this episode, I'm sharing a personal story around this, as well as some inspiration to start owning who you are, shining your light, and stop shrinking yourself for someone else's comfort. This is a big one for my boss ladies who struggle with putting themselves out there!

0:57.5

sad. He was such an amazing talent. And I came across an article on Facebook that I thought was

1:02.8

really, really powerful. And his daughter, Katie Cassidy, shared his last words. The words that he

1:09.4

said, when he was passing, he was on his deathbed,

1:12.4

and his last words were, quote, so much wasted time. So much wasted time. Like, can you imagine

1:20.2

saying that on your deathbed? Can you imagine that being the last thing that you feel at the end

1:26.5

of your life? And I was really moved by that,

1:28.5

and I really felt like I wanted to share it. And I wound up posting that to Facebook. I shared the

1:33.9

story, and I gave my own kind of, you know, sentiment about it. And I talked about how I live my

1:40.9

life in such a way, where I do understand that our time is limited and I am very

1:45.2

intimate with the fact that I am going to die one day. We're all going to die one day and we

1:50.7

don't know when that's going to be. And because of that, I live my life in a way where I work

1:55.6

really hard and I work really fast and I accomplish the things that I want to accomplish

1:59.8

and I don't wait on things and I don't let time pass me by.
