Summary
The holidays are upon us, and that, unfortunately, means that Caitlin read The Immortal Nicholas by Glenn Beck with us. We have to admit–we liked it a lot better than we liked The Christmas Sweater by Glenn Beck (who has shocked us all by getting moderately woke since the publication of these books)! But The Christmas Sweater was the most soul-crushing book we’ve ever read, so that’s a very low bar to clear. Tune in now to hear us make sense of this Biblical hurt/comfort fanfiction that somehow is supposed to be a heartwarming story to read to your good Christian children at bedtime! Happy holidays from Worst Bestsellers!
Note: Apologies for the audio issues with this episode! Our noble editor Becca did her best to salvage it, and we’re going to do our best to investigate and resolve the underlying causes. (It’s probably ghosts.)
Readers advisory: Here.
