and final volume of the biography of Churchill by William Manchester as many of

you probably know William Manchester wrote the first two volumes they were

absolutely amazing and then he started doing the research on the third and

started writing the third one but then he was afflicted with Alzheimer's and

so it just sat there for years and then he I'm asked Paul Reed to take over so

that really the book is a combination of both of their efforts but it's

really amazing I wish I could say I'd finished it but it's 53 hours long I

just started it but again all the detail is there and they do a really good

job of saying here's Churchill who certainly wasn't anything more than human

but he's helping his country go through one of the darkest periods in its

history and he's trying to be everything to the people that they need so he

does that but then again as the war ends and the power starts to shift from

Great Britain to the US he has to recognize that Churchill has to recognize that

and help his country deal with that transition so it's it's just an amazing

story what Churchill had to deal with during the war and after the war and they

do a really good job of covering it Paul Reed and William Manchester so trust me
