This is Indiana's premier waterfront race taking place saturday september 13th this is

the 17th year of this race it is a hilly and challenging half marathon course not too hilly honestly

now that i live in raleigh i can say that it is a beautiful race with waterfront views and if you're

running a fall marathon this is a great

tune-up race i went to visit fisher's indiana when i was in town this summer for our summer

trip back to indiana and i was blown away by how incredible fisher's is it has changed so much

over the last 15 years they have an amazing boutiqueique hotel, Hotel Nickel Plate, which is right along a 5.5 mile

trail, the Nickel Plate Trail, with great restaurants all around that area.

I highly recommend going and staying there, getting your shakeout run down on the

nickel plate trail.
